Week Seven

 Today’s lecture was the last one for the year.As usual, we had an interactive class with Miss Adenta.Today, we went on to learn how New media has become a necessity or a need in our everyday lives..Today, for all our businesses, we use New media.For the dissemination of information, we use New media.For communication purposes, we use New media.This tells us that New Media is part and parcel of our lives.

Compared to the days when technology wasn’t so common and communication with distant relatives was a thing to worry about,New media has brought a seamless and easy solution to all communication problems, businesses have developed strategies to interact with their customers or clients virtually and this has increased customer engagement and service.Job opportunities are now advertised on New media platforms to the public making it accessible to all individuals who seek employment.

Personally, without New media ,life will feel very boring and tiring.This is because after a long day’s work,New media content helps me release stress ,it also helps me stay abreast with current affairs and its platforms like WhatsApp help me stay in touch with my family and friends .Without it ,something will feel lost in my life.


This goes a long way to express the fact that New media has become a need and not a want.

At the end of the class,Miss Dentaa wished us Happy holidays and we said our goodbyes.

Recap of Week four’s Lecture

 The fourth lecture of the New Media course was on the 20th of November,2025 at 9am to 10am.I joined the class about fifteen minutes after the class commenced and I was just in time because my lecturer had just began addressing issues we had with the creation of our blogs and social media platforms.So many concerns were raised by my colleagues , some of which were the fact that they couldn’t create personal blogs ,others had challenges creating Instagram pages and some others were confused as to how to go about posting their campaigns on their pages as well as tagging our lecturer on X at the same time submitting their URLs on the LMS platform.Miss Dentaa, our lecturer however addressed all these issues and before long ,class was over even though we couldn’t execute this weeks lecture.In all,I had a nice time learning.

Lecture Week6

 Wednesday mornings always feel better with Miss Dentaa’s lectures.This week…we learnt about how New media has become a part of our everyday lives.New media like WhatsApp,Instagram,TikTok amongst others have changed the way people think, play, learn and even work. New media plays many vital roles in our everyday lives, some of which are providing entertainment,  education, assistance, and connectivity with relatives and others worldwide.Some advantages of New media are Affordability (in the sense that New media is cheap to use and also cheap in terms of advertisement purposes,New media is also very flexible and offers freedom in terms of usage, there is no pressure as to when to use new media or not.Also new media is  a means of relaxation as it offers channels that entertain us after a tiring or boring day.These are a few uses of New media among the many mentioned.After Madam ended her lecture, questions were asked concerning our Interim Assessment which is supposed to b...
